Anton Nyberg

is a screenwriter. He was the main writer on SVT’s hit series Eagles S1 and S2. The series became a huge success in the Young Adult (YA) genre. Eagles competed in Best Youth Drama at the Venice TV awards. Anton is now reforming the YA genre with his own project The Sin in development with Eccho Rights. During the past year he has developed and written episodes for two different series, one for Viaplay and one for SVT together with The Global Ensemble Drama. Together with producer Niklas Larsson at SF Studios (Red Dot, Nelly Rapp) Anton attended the internationally prominent film training course EAVE, European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs, 2022 with an upcoming series.

In 2018, Anton obtained a bachelor’s degree in screenwriting from Stockholm University of the Arts.

Dark and skilled humor, characters with elaborate features and clever script writing, characterize his style. The devil is in the details is a favorite expression when Anton constructs characters, nothing is too small to be forgotten. He finds all genres interesting to dive into. Anton is highly valued in writer rooms. He is known for fast high quality delivery, while also being the one who listens and analyzes.

In 2022, Anton’s debut novel Den vilda flykten från arbetsförmedlingen was released by Lava förlag.
