David Eriksson

is a screenwriter who in 2023 graduated from the prestigious Stockholm University of the Arts
with a bachelor’s degree in screenwriting and has in the matter of only a few years
established himself as a rising force in Stockholm’s vibrant film industry.

David’s much-awaited graduation film, Amygdala, in which a mother deals with the aftermath of a school attack committed by her son, had its international premiere at the Haugesund Film Festival, where it competed in The New Nordic Generation Program. The national distribution is handled by SVT, with a scheduled streaming release in 2024

Currently David is developing several different projects, crafting captivating scripts for both
film and television, including a feature film at SF Studios.

With a background in music and a passion for storytelling, David has seamlessly transitioned into the world of filmmaking, honing his craft through diverse roles on various productions. His creativity and
dedication have earned him opportunities with esteemed companies such as SVT Drama,
StellaNova Film, Harmonica Films and SF Studios, where he has contributed to the
development and production of numerous compelling projects.
