Ester Schartum-Hansen

Esters latest projects include featurefilms Royalteen and Royalteen – Princess Margarethe, both for Netflix. She has also been developing a script for a TV-series for SVT, in collaboration with The Global Ensemble Drama. Ester has written two theatre plays, for NRK Radioteatret and Oslo Nye Teater, and she is currently developing a play in collaboration with Dramatikkens Hus.

Ester is effective and focused on progress, at the same time always making an effort to work thoroughly on the characters and situations she creates. Ester is a trained actress from Oslo National Academy of the Arts and with fifteen years experience as an actress she has a fine understanding for dialogue and characters, and uses this experience in creating content with humour and distinctiveness. She writes prose, theater and film and has attended the Aschehoug publishers writerschool. She has an abundance of ideas, and is a creative resource in any project.
