Soni Jörgensen

is a Swedish screenwriter who has worked on both Swedish and English language feature films and TV Series, including as a dialogue coach on American Horror Story for showrunner Ryan Murphy (Dhamer, Glee, Nip/Tuck). 

Soni was also the Head Writer for Hazelight Studios and Electronic Art’s global commercial success and multi-award-winning action comedy video game, It Takes Two, in collaboration with film and game director Josef Fares (Jalla! Jalla!, Cops, A Way Out). It take two has over 16 million copies sold (March 2024) all over the world.

Soni says;

” Writing for this narrative game was like writing for a film or TV series in terms of character development, story, scenes, and everything that scriptwriting involves. The major distinction was that I also had to integrate it into the interactive gameplay and immersive experience, which added another complexity to the script development process. The page count of the actual scenes I wrote was equivalent to a limited TV series, not including the additional thousands of lines of gameplay dialogue. It was like being a screenwriter on steroids.“

Thanks to her training, from the Graduate Screenwriting Program at USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles, Soni is known for her special skills in character development and for writing drama, comedy and other genres based on compelling characters.
