Janic Heen
Director, Writer
is a writer/director with ample experience from some of Scandinavias most celebrated drama successes.
In recent years he has directed no less than two international EMMY® winning drama series, Mammon II and Atlantic Crossing.
Janic simply loves the process of developing a good story into an even greater drama. His amalgam of Nordic timidness and American ambition fits well with both large and small scale productions. Janic has a keen sense for detail and is continually searching to get the best out of people, both in front of and behind the camera. He is a soul searcher at heart, and really enjoys projects that can challenge on an existential and philosophical level.
As of January 2023 Janic is appointed Film commissioner at Viken Filmsenter.
